I once knitted DH a cabled sweater, completely finished it , sewed it up and it didn’t fit over his head. I undid it but never finished it.

Well, I have finished my jeans and worn them a couple of times. No one made any bad comments and one of my friends said they look like “proper jeans” so I think that was a compliment.
I made the Morgan jeans which are non stretch. I really enjoyed the process of making them and my sewing machine coped very well. Pics to follow when I get organised.

No idea I’m afraid, it’s rather pretty. Have you thought about cutting out say a six inch square and washing and ironing to see what happens?
