Title: Single Fold Bias Tape

Hi

i'm new to sewing but want to have a go at making at a top at the weekend but struggling to find 1/2" single fold bias tape in black.  Can i use bias binding instead?

You can make your own - then you can make it to exactly match your project if you need to.

However you shouldn't have an issue with finding single fold bias tape in black in that colour. Are you comfortable looking online? It's sold pretty much everywhere (eBay is good for sewing notions).

Bias tape is the same as bias binding - if you can't find single fold, you can always iron double fold tape flat.   As @Francesca says, it's easy to make your own but for your first try, it might be easier to buy some.
