You are looking at the 3 day course at the bottom of the page Ella???

Which obviously should be followed by the next 6 month Jewel Quilt course ?

Would be rude not to

I've just seen this and am very tempted.

I've been doing bits and bobs with my ruler set but know a workshop would be very useful.

I'm looking at the beginners one in March next year.

Think it will be my Christmas present to me 0_0

Sorry @Iminei I had hoped to post mine earlier this week but some unexpected extra Grandmaing stopped me.

I'll get it in the post tomorrow and sort out the photos.

The Haberdashery / Re: Needles?

I buy Schmetz in boxes of 100. It’s a biggish outlay but the cost per needle is pretty good.

Glad you started with a small project  ;)

Lovely work BTW

Waiting for DH to go away for the weekend, he’s following Mr Ruby’s example and thrashing his bike round a racetrack tomorrow. No sidecar unfortunately so he’s very capable of falling over.

Once he’s gone I can get on with my PL quilt. The top is waiting expectantly upstairs. Apart from babysitting tonight I’m all alone until late afternoon on Sunday. Can’t wait 0_0

Oh @Sewbee you will LOVE it.

I have an Evolve that I just use for coverstitching and an Imagine O/L, they are wonderful. <3

I'm glad you got the clear foot, it makes such a difference.

Just play with it for a while, the stitch quality is wonderful and tension problems a thing of the past. 0_0

Just caught up with this thread, love the hats but it’s the concept of needing an apron in a camper van I struggle with.

What’s the pattern BTW?

I also have the ‘make it a little bit bigger just in case’ mentality.

I really need to trust my tape measure more :S

I do like the look of one of those tape measures though. The only problem is the postage costs, do I bite the bullet, pay the postage and not add to the stash or spend more money and get some nice fabric.

Oh it’s such a hard decision  :D

My DH has several tats, some of them self done, he hates them and has done for years.

Neither of my two have then as far as I know and if they do they have enough respect for their father to keep them covered.

I know lots of people love their body art, I feel that whilst I can see they look good now, years down the line when they are blurred and wrinkled a lot of people are going to regret having them done.
