Morning, lovely sunshine this morning but it is only 12C at the moment. Not much planned for today, I've still got s touch of sciatica left over from yesterday. Boots will be delivering today. I froze half of the soup I made yesterday but have some for today.
Have a good day.

I used cannellini beans, the kidney beans weren't in the cupboard after all. The soup is simmering away, I'll add the beans later.

@Elnnina I'll use either kidney beans or cannelloni beans (tinned) and I might chuck in some baby spinach which is lurking in the fridge.

Raining here but not blowing a gale like yesterday, it was howling round the car when we stopped to look at the starlings performing the modest murmuration over the farmland. Chilly this morning so I am wearing a bigger, heavier jumper. Going to make some broccoli and bean soup after having a phone chat with my brother and SIL, they have been in Rhodes for a holiday in the sun.
Have a good Sunday.

Saw a mini murmuration of starlings today   about 200  birds shape shifting before dropping down to a large oak tree for the night. Absolutely fascinating.

So sorry to hear about your mum  @Sheilago
Another grey day here and a bit chilly. waiting for grocery fairy to come and then a bit of a walk later.  I don't feel properly awake yet so I'll just sit and have a think.
Have a good day.

Morning, dull and damp but not cold here. @Stitches enjoy your coffee break this afternoon.
Fridge is dripping away nicely. Have you tried picking up pieces of ice off the floor with a picker-upper? I managed to drop the drip tray and the lumps of ice went all over the floor   I said a few rude words.  Not much else planned except text shopping list to my friend for tomorrow.
Have a good day.

I got some plastic boxes about 15" x 12" with adjustable compartments from Wilkos. I keep SM feet, needles and lots of other small things in one and the other two have reels and bobbins. Zips, bias tape and elastic I keep in separate plastic bags in my large fabric storage boxes.

Sewing Machines / Brother Innovis A80

Does anyone have this machine? Any comments on its performance would be welcome, I can't afford to upgrade very much. I just want a reliable and workaday machine. My Alfa 30 is in for a service and it maybe a few weeks before I can sew again. Thanks in advance.

A sunny morning but it does show the dust. Feeling a bit stiff this morning probably because I slept better, you can't win. My sewing machine has gone for a check up and I was wondering if I should have a back up machine, hmmm
Catching up on chores today and make something tasty with leeks and cheese, there is some puff pastry in the fridge to use up too. Enjoy the sunshine if you have some.
