Congratulations, attempting buttonholes on your first make is very impressive.

Overlock or zig zag the edges if it's woven and then into the washer, every time. I couldn't bear to put lots of effort into a garment and then find it was too small.

I've had knits shrink considerably before now.

This has now been sold :D

For a simple tee my go-to is
Its a lovely quick sew, it has round and vee neck versions and there is also a cowl neckline.

It glides well over the bumpy bits as it is quite roomy but if I use a thicker knit I slim down some of the flare.

I use the adjusted armscye version unless I'm doing a sleeveless one when I use the original fit.

If you don't mind a PDF its great.  There is also an option to print it in A0 at a copy shop.

It will be a very well dressed horse.

I have the above available for sale.

It is brand new and still in its original unopened packageing.

They are for sale on Jaycotts website for £24.50 and I would like £16.00 to include P&P

I've been wanting an extension table for a while so this seems like good value.

Best to get these things now whilst we are still in the EU.

Well done Holly Berry, first class work. :toast: :toast: :toast:

I've got a few patterns to swap and a small shopping list sorted.

Wasn't there a plan for a Fabworks trip on the old forum?

Oh I love Log Cabin blocks. There are so many ways to place them, I could juggle them for hours.

Now that sounds interesting and not too far from me.

None of my friends is into sewing, so a chat and a swap sound interesting.  Also should have got rid of some stash by then so will need want more fabric.

Just think that next time you need 80 little squares, you will have them cut already ;)
