The last scissors I bought were from Dunelm, by the tills.....£5 for 2 pairs ( small and large ) I've just cut some embroidery thread and opened a sealed plastic bag with them.....

I don't have a stash per se. I buy for the next,specific project and try not to over estimate the amount needed.
But
Sometimes I am given pressies of fqs and sometimes I have fabric left over from a project.
I only keep pieces bigger than a fat eighth
the smaller bits go for shoddy or are used in rag rugs.
This quilt is made from gifted fqs and leftover fes.
Now I've explained myself @Iminei  may I ask how your offering for this sewalong is progressing?...pics please

Whoopie! The more the merrier, the Darkside needs a big boost.
Rail fence, Square in a box, Courtyard steps, Friendship star are all scrap friendly blocks.
I'll probably make mine for Project Linus.
