Gosh, you were lucky @hernibs we had to queue for 30mins outside, in the snow and freezing wind Felt sorry for the Marshall who looked frozen. Roads were not good as there hadn't been much traffic and only the road in the village centre was gritted.
Still, all done and grateful that we got vaccinated....Oxford AZ
No need to go out again for a couple of days, although I doesn't feel much warmer indoors as we got chilled right through.
Coffee, bathroom cleaning and quilt sandwiching on the cards for this afternoon. Have a good one.... <3
Glad you're feeling better @Iminei
Starting my fasting diet today. No solid food at all for 2 days a week....wish me luck.

Off for our jabs in a bit. Snowing and -1 but apparently feels like -12.
I've been determined not to have the heating on for any extra time during the day but my resolve may falter today
Need to layer up a quilt, a job I loathe doing

No, I would be concerned about creepage. I use 505 spray and a sprinkling of quilters safety pins

Let's hope that the Beast from the East mark 2 doesn't cause too many problems. The temperature has certainly dropped here.
Why am I not in the land of nod??? My mind keeps whirling around the rather complicated blocks I have to begin for the jewel / star thingy and the darkness before dawn thingy. So....I have decided to leave them alone and start something else.
We're sorting out  and rearranging the box room so I may do some of that.
Whatever you get up to, have a good day  :flower: :sew:

I'm having difficulty transcribing the instruction for this as I am for 2 of Zeldas quilts on FB.
I have to copy each instructions from my tablet onto paper and it's time consuming and can be confusing.
I do this as I like to listen to audiobooks while I work and  my tablet plays up sometimes going between the two.
Will try to figure out a better way of working
How do you manage?

@TartanPaint  I love jelly rolls and some of my most successful quilts have been made with them. Charm squares and layer cakes are fine but you get a bit more wastage with layer cakes I find. Fat quarters are your friend too
