G'morning tis another sunny frosty one  :)

My bestie is coming here at lunchtime for a chat and a cuppa, I'm without a car as the OH is using mine for work. He buggered two wheels on his car on Saturday by driving over a traffic island. He's too used to a big truck  ><

I've tentatively approached the SS problem, have found out he's staying with us all week so I told him I'd find him some jobs to do while he's here. He was happy with that. He offered to trundle off to the stupormarket for supplies, so that will definitely happen  ;)

Have a good day all

G'morning it's a gorgeous sunny one and not too cold  :)

Youngest SS is here after arriving on Friday evening so the house feels strange. He just sits around reading or watching cricket on his laptop telly, staying out of my way but I cannot relax as I'm sooooo used to being here on my own  :S Also the fact that he does nothing useful, or offers to help with anything grates on me

I have an idea for a top I'd like to make by Franking an existing pattern so after I've executed a few jobs I'll have a go at that  :)

Have a good day all

These are my pj trousers.

I used a 1.8m set piece from Croftmill so unfortunately none left over for a matching top

G'morning, it looks v frosty and when I opened the door for the dogs to go out I got a cool waft  :o

Y/day I cut out pieces for a pair of pj trousers so I'll finish running them up, I use a t & t harem pants pattern and usually omit the pockets so they're a quick make. I have a few suitable contenders in my stash for the Rushcutter Dress, just need to decide which to go with.

OH is making a roast today - pork - I made the yorkshires batter and the apple sauce y/day so I've done my bit   :D

Have a good day all

Beautiful dress @Ann and your bag is way nicer than my shopping bags  0_0

I never sleep naked and will often walk the dogs in my pj's, granted they don't look like typical pj's. There have been days when I haven't got 'dressed' at all and have gone through the day as I am. slob, moi?!

This wee Margo outfit might be reserved for a warmish day when I plan on mooching around the house  :)

I've made a top and bottoms to complete the ensemble. Excuse the sloppy presentation, I needed to show the separates

G'morning I will visit mum today and take her a piece of carrot cake before it disappears completely. Hopefully I'll get in the sewing hut today I have a particular project to try in mind. Hopefully the OH and his DS2 will toddle off to rugby and leave me to it  :)

Have a good day all

BTW @Iminei it's the 18th  :P

Good afternoon quite frankly it's bloody freezing here.

I've sewn a new wallet today, just felt the need for cheering myself up, my old one was intended as a pressie for somebody a couple of years ago but I ended up keeping it, however I've never really liked it.

My youngest SS is here this weekend, he's basically house-hopping between us, his mum and his brother, he doesn't have a job or anything stable yet. Must not get wound up when he is parked on the sofa all day doing not a lot of anything  :S

Have a good evening all

@JudyN ...

either that or hes some weird and wonderful new hybrid of a lurcher cross sausage dog ... What would that be called then ?

He would still be called a lurcher - a lurcher is a sighthound cross  0_0

Good afternoon I bought a bag of carrots today forgetting that I'd got some last week so I've made four carrot cakes with the intention of putting two in the freezer. Just waiting for them to cool so's I can 'ice' them  :)

G'morning I feels rough  :( typical as I'd left most of the cleaning up jobs to do today in preparation for the OH getting home this evening. Might have to scale down the to-do list.

Just avin me porridge before I need to make the bed and go to the stupormarket as I foolishly didn't go y/day  :S

@Sandra hope you both enjoy the Strictly show, I took mum one year to Sheffield, the only celeb I can remember there was Kenny Logan. That long ago  :)

Have a good day all
