Today... One thread per day / Monday 30th November
« on: Today at 06:30:52 »
Good morning, I'm up early again, too stiff and achy in bed. Still dark out so I haven't bothered to look out yet. Not much planned for today. I haven't finished present wrapping yet and I could do some housework I suppose, I'll think about that later. Porridge next, have a good day.

Those wrinkled apples were made into a tasty dessert using up some leftover puff pastry and a third of a jar of mincemeat I found lurking in the back of the cupboard. Just had some with a dollop of creme fraiche.

Morning all, haven't looked out yet but it will be chilly again with the easterly wind. I've been up a while, haven't had my porridge yet. After a bit of housework there are still a few presents to wrap and some soup left for lunch. Mmm, must do something with the slightly wizened apples in the fruit bowl today or they will be past saving. Enjoy your Sunday.

Morning all, I seem to be getting up later each day, it is dull and a bit misty but not foggy like yesterday. Normal Saturday activity here, grocery deliver later and I have some leek, potato and cannellini bean soup for lunch. I made it yesterday but didn't get round to eating any. A short walk this afternoon before it gets dark and that's about it. I am watching the BBC4 Icelandic thriller at 9pm, no nightmares yet. Enjoy your Saturday.
Edit: @Iminei   Cosmo :meow: was a great chatterer but he never actually  chased a bird or caught one, he just watched and  chattered at them.

Not mean at all @Iminei   although I did give one of my neighbours Cosmo's boxes of food and half a sack if cat litter. I still miss him so even though it is nearly two years since he died.

Morning, brr frosty and foggy here, I've had my porridge so I'm ready for the day. I'll start the present wrapping as all the Amazon deliveries have arrived safe and sound. Not much else to do apart from a whizz round with the vacuum cleaner and make some lunch and then get cosy with my book. Have a good day.

Morning all, just getting light and we are in for a chilly day, NW wind and 8C. I've got a few jobs on my list today and as I feel a bit easier after the osteopath did her stuff yesterday I can get on and do them when I'm up and dressed. Breakfast first and I fancy porridge. Have s good day.

I had 2 short power cuts too yesterday, at 2 and 3pm so I found a torch and put it in my trousers pocket just in case for the evening but it was OK. Candles now on my shopping list.
