Welcome, Lalu.

Not sure of the temperature but the sun is shining at the moment so I think I will get my walk in before deciding what else to do today.

Got my fresh air going out to the whirly in the back garden and back with washing and my exercise going up and down stairs - the airer is in the spare room.

So sheets washed, dried and ironed, bathroom mats washed and hanging outside. Bathroom cleaned (bit more to do, just stopped for a cuppa).

Your first sashiko? Seriously?

Wish I could stitch as evenly as that.

We have sunshine, it's cold but the sun is shining. Just hope it lasts as I have sheets in the wash which I would like to dry outside.
I doubt if my brief 'applaud the NHS' the other night made much difference, but the bin man who I applauded this morning did see me.

Not having family has its downsides, but, reading some of your posts, living alone does have its advantages  ;)

Welcome, Carol.

Cloud first thing and, of course, it was darker than I was used to. We have had some sun now but it's cold.

Waiting for the WM to finish and debating whether to have a day off from my daily walk.

Heard a shop[ worker on the radio this morning describing the abuse they get when they try to enforce the distancing rules "how dare you, I'm not dirty' and worse.

21stC humans in a 1st world country. How did they grow up to be like that?

I love the monogram label. I assume she put that in all her garments.

Happy Birthday, Sewsuzie  :toast: :cake: :toast:

Thank you @Sakar  what a lovely happy picture.

We had a hail shower earlier  ><

The house is gradually looking tidier - suppose I am doing it as it is something I can control at the moment.

I know it is forecast to be cold but it does help to have some blue sky and sunshine.
Just a pity it shows up the dust.

Oh well I have nowhere to go and plenty of time to dust.

So is Scotland, but even K&S only appeared here for three years then quit.

That is a gorgeous coat.
Very stylish.

Checked the forecast and realised it wasn't going to get any warmer as the day progressed so had my walk. Only 20 minutes but aiming for brisk rather than strolling.

Waved at a couple of dog walkers I see regularly and had a chat (across the road) with a neighbour who was just setting off for a local shop as I got back. So fresh air, exercise and human contact all achieved.

Cloudy chilly and damp here so not sure what will happen to yesterday's intention to go for at least a short walk.
