I suspect this has been asked/answered before but how do you find a pattern company's 'fit model body type' please?

Wow, most impressive @Lowena!
All I’ve done so far in January is finish my 3 bears quilt and make 2 overalls for my granddaughter ( one for here and one for home).
Need some inspiration for making a quilt. I’ve been thinking about blocks which could gradually use up scraps and eventually turn into a big masterpiece! I keep looking at pictures, but no inspiration as yet.

Just back home. Pillowcase is a gorgeous match for the beautiful quilt!

Technical Help / Re: Another newbie question...

Next time you try something like that try to have the seam allowance a bit wider so that there is fabric underneath all of the foot.  You can then trim close to the sewing after the seam is stitched - duck bill scissors are good for that, though any sharp scissors should work.  They do need to be a bit bigger than embroidery snips for cutting heavy fabric like denim.

When you lift the foot does your machine be too clever and reset itself to the beginning of the stitch/needle position repeat?

I love that fabric - and if a pattern for a classic garment such as a tee shirt fits you well it's worth its weight in gold.

I have finally finished the Fancy Forest Quilt.
I won't post any photos, so please don't ask.
It has been truly "cobbled together" just to get the bl***y thing finished and hidden away from prying eyes ( even mine )  :D
This is not false modesty, so please don't accuse me of being coy or currying praise.
The piecing is inexpert, I made it,then took it apart to make it bigger and this bu****ed up the layout. Then I did an @Iminei and ran out of backing fabric so bits had to be joined . The backing and binding are shameful....but it is finally finished and I can move on!!!
I have learned SO MUCH and am now revved up and raring to go with proper projects which I am truly excited about  :loveit:
Hopefully, these I will share with you. I can't overestimate the sense of relief I feel  <3
