I'm planning a sewing session with DGD3 next week.
Any suggestions on what to make?
What about patterns?
Looking forward to hearing any ideas you have.

I started off my GDs with tote bags.... and very pleased with themselves they were  :D
Also cushions and lavender bags were a hit. All made with patchwork from pre cut squares

What about a skirt.  Just 2 rectangles, and elasticated waist.  Plain T shirt.  Pyjama bottoms.

Jessie, who is very happy to be here!!  :),  but who has far too many sewing machines to be healthy, and a fabric stash which is becoming embarrassing.

something like a pair of pj shorts? Oliver+S have a good free pattern I think (though it would require printing out)
2018 fabric used 12m.
2018 wardrobe items completed 6.

First thing I ever made was a tote bag, lots of decoration and ric rac.

But if they want clothes, then PJ bottoms and loose tops can be fun.
