Very well done Twopence, I have a vey nice multi coloured apple fabric that looks like it might go nicely with that. Really depends on the colour of your background fabric, as the apples is a clean white...



Nah, looking at the pics together (unless its lighting) your background fabric is too cream ... How about a nice tomatoey red .......



Or ... pull out the blue flowery pattern from the top ... ' Fraid I have no pics of anything like that.

Wow, 2p.  I can't believe how different that is from mine.  You wouldn't think that it was from the same blocks.  Because my no 6 is the lightest fabric the stars really dominate. 
'scuse the crappy picture but I just laid out the blocks on the bed in  varying combinations and took a picture of each to see what looked right.  It was early evening so bad light.  I will take a better pic when I have joined the blocks.

Yes Plosh, using a dark background and light no6 makes a lot of difference doesn't it?  I will be looking for the backing at FOQ on Thursday hoping to find a backing fabric as it is 48 wide.  If not then I'll look to see if they have any of the no2 fabric which is flowery on a blue background but I will need to piece that.

For now I have hung it folded lightly in two using a hanger from a wall light.

I'm loving the variety in all the quilts, they are all really vibrant.  Good jobs, everyone!

I am making progress, just finished clues 5 and 6.  it will be ummm interesting to see how my quilt turns out.  I'm not convinced I will love all the black but I think it will be different and striking, and someone will love it.  I will just have to find that person, if it's not me!

On to clue 7!

Clue 7 done!  I'll check the destructions again, but I think that means I'm up to the laying out stage!!   Pleased with how this block looks.  The lime green stars really jump out at you.
