I have the Ikea Flintan chair, although I see that's now gone up to £70. The one thing I don't like is the castors only roll when you're sitting on it, but not sure if this is how all new chairs are now?

I get that too, it's so annoying! It's better with the 10.5 tog duvet than the 4.5, and does it with both of our covers in current use.
No idea why, I've never had it happen in the past, but then I did always use the huge fat 13.5 down duvet all year round. I think it's possibly to do with the fatness of the duvet?

I've found a manual, and it would seem that it is meant to be that way round, with the stitch along the edge. Have you tried it?

I think I'd reverse the colours and have the lighter colour at the neck and the darker blue for the body. The rib looks quite tight at the neck , could you undo that and knit it on bigger needles?
