What buttons did you use for covering? I have a shirt that needs self covered buttons but I have no idea which to get.

I had to use a mixture as I didn't have many left. I've used 2 metal ones and 3 plastic ones. I prefer the metal ones as the shank is finer and it's easier to squidge all the fabric in under the back and still have a clear shank for sewing on.
