Right here goes - Bjay attempting to post a photo. No idea how to reduce the size!

I have now, with many trials and tribulations , made the 2nd star with opposite colourway

@Bjay

I have modified your pic by adding in width=500. Not sure what difference it made as I viewed it on my phone earlier.

When you insert the attachment you get this in your post:    [ attachment id=0 msg=301556 ]

If it turns out too big modify your post and pop width=??? (I use anything from 250 to 500 depending how big I want the photo) in the middle, like this
[ attachment id=0 width=500 msg=301556 ] There has to be a space before and after your width=??? command but no spaces within it.

I'm going to repeat the photo with width=250 to see what the effect is.

PS I learnt this off Acorn so am not, as you supposed, a genius  ;)

This has been progressing slowly.  Not helped by my iron not working too well and the initial replacement being too heavy. Sorted now and today I have pressed and all creases disappeared  :thumb:

So now I have made 2 sandwiches all ready to quilt over next 2 or 3 days
. Time is getting short for completion

I'm on Windows.  My trick for reducing photograph sizes is to view the pic in Windows default photo viewer and zoom in or out until it's a reasonable size, then use Snipping Tool to snip only the bit I'm interested in.  Save the result to desktop for ease of insertion in post.

This has the additional benefit of stripping out all the meta data associated with the original photo, which you might not want visible on social media.
