Wow, the Sewezi is BIG You would need a big space in your home to use it.

That's what I thought - I'm going to have to stick to the dining room table for the foreseeable!

Great ladies.
My sewing room is coming together.  Sofa bed is ordered,  chair is in the loft and I have been researching tables.
It must fold and be a good size because of size of quilts.
I  have looked at the Ikea and liked it but the other day I found this which is a good size and the shelf underneath would take the machine when it is a guest room

@sewchic
Browsing I h, as well as a good length. Easy to moveave just found this . Advantages it has adjustable height, a decent width and length disadvantage a bit more than I wanted to spend - oh and it has a grid on the top

@Bjay   Thanks for the suggestion but it’s too tall even with the adjustable legs as I want a table for my machine.  I think I will probably go for the Horn Hideaway rather than the Sewezi as the price of each are not that much different, the Horn comes complete whereas the Sewezi cut out is an extra and they both offer free delivery.

That looks like a nice table with decent dimensions, similar to my trestles and wood countertop combo with the advantage of having wheels and the ability to fold it down.

I have a Horn Hideaway @So Chic. It’s sturdy. It could be bigger for my liking but it fits my small space.

I'm suffering from a bad back.  I have spent most of this week   cutting fabric for the next quilt which has taken hours.
 I use the dining table and think I need something that has adjustable height.

Found this
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Lifetime-Commercial-Adjustable-Height-Folding/dp/B0767R3MHL/?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_w=oG4Uw&content-id=amzn1.sym.ef3907ff-f91d-4263-9e4a-2471c52bf60e&pf_rd_p=ef3907ff-f91d-4263-9e4a-2471c52bf60e&pf_rd_r=XTRDWHM4GY2M6R6KXV3N&pd_rd_wg=zJhSF&pd_rd_r=6351a4fd-2bf4-4395-9138-5afdd768757c&ref_=pd_gw_ci_mcx_mr_hp_atf_m

It may be a bit long but overall the width is just about OK.  Certainly worth thinking about  :thinking:

@Bjay , the website states Product dimensions   30D x 72W x 36H centimetres

It's got to mean inches, I suppose, 30 cm (ie 1 ft) deep  is just a wide shelf!!

Big excitement

I've finally ordered a Table.  I went for worktop size it's an IKEA one

https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/kallhaell-gateleg-table-with-storage-white-light-grey-00511223/

Hope it's strong enough

The height adjustable ones I've seen were too narrow

I wanted to go for that one, @Bjay but realised that my little sewing room is just too small.

That looks really useful, especially with the centre storage section. Not sure about the relevance of the dude on the  excerise mat - 3 or 4 pics in.

I think the dude on the exercise mat is showing how you can fold your table up and then do Pilates in the space left?

But he's only using a small yoga mat.  The table is 98cm wide and from that, and from the size of Dude, that the mat is about 1.5m or 1.6m long.  Not long enough to lie on without overhanging at the end.  My mat is 1.8m long and about 3 times as thick as that one.  My Pilates tutor says the thin mats don't give enough cushioning.  It's an optical illusion to make the table look bigger than it really is  :o

Brenda.  My machines are: Corona, a 1953 Singer 201K-3, Caroline, a 1940 Singer 201K-3, Thirza, 1949 Singer 221K, Azilia, 1957 Singer 201K-MK2 and Vera, a Husqvarna 350 SewEasy about 20 years old. Also Bernina 1150 overlocker and Elna 444 Coverstitcher.

Or simply a matter of let's use this, it works in a picture to illustrate small space living, without the need for odd camera angles.
Janome M50QDC - "Jane" - Small, cute and hard working. Pfaff Quilt Ambition 630 - "Pfanny" - Pfickle. Bernina L450 - "Bernie" - Very hungry. Bernina 830 Record - "Becky"
