@Ouryve - you are quite right. There are references to the new series all over google but there's nothing about it in the EPG out to next Monday evening and nothing on iplayer. Blue Lights finishes its run next Mon at 9pm - maybe that slot is where it's going to go.

I checked on the BBC site to see when Series 9 is scheduled to start but there is no mention of it being shown in the two/three weeks. I wonder what's gone wrong as there has not been any trailers.

I saw a post on Digital spy and they reckon the start date will be Wednesday 17th May when "Race across the world finishes".

I suspect it's been pushed back with Coronation coverage + Bank holiday things. Normal schedules are usually all over the place if there is a holiday.....

While they are still repeating last year's series, Imi and I have spotted that the Japanese themed episode, which was a most excellent example of GBSB at its best, will be shown this Thursday, 11th, at 16.15 on Beeb2.

I, for one, am very excited at seeing the repeat of This coming Thursdays episode.

As I recall the Ki - Mo - No, (as the blonde girl insisted on calling it) challenge had several in a tizzy, whereas the winner thoroughly deserved to win having split the lining ... as you should.

and then there was the Japanese inspired dress ... again the winner was so good and lastly the Sashiko mending the denim, ( @Lowena )

There was a sashiko started kit in Calico Kates but £££

I think if I can untangle some DMC threads and use just one strand (yeah right!)

I could have a go ...

I was overcome with desire from this beauty that @Ploshkin had made ...
