@Acorn yes if mum's goes down she won’t be able to contact us either because she’ll lose her wifi too.  She doesn’t have a mobile.  It’s all a bit worrying.

I spend half my time where I don't have a wifi signal.  Not to mention no electricity (I have solar, but it runs lights and one small appliance at a time) and a generator for fans, A/C or heat).  To run the LINES for wifi there is close to $25K (about double for electric).  The other half I'm rural and the internet phones don't work due to the fack they buy it from Birmingham...it has so much noise on the line it can't work.  Or it drops on and off and never get enough upload/download speed.

As to the clothes, what ARE they going to be fixing? High end clothing for a group of people that can afford the repairs anyway?  That Shein and Temu crap?  The latter is so bad, even hemming is a hard job, most of them require remaking or refshioning, which their 25 euros won't cover.
