Brother or Janome

I have a Brother Innovis 2200, combined machine, which I love using.  It is easy to use has put up with anything I've thrown at it.
For my 60th I treated myself to a new machine and got a Janome 4950 QCP, which I use but don't enjoy using like the Brother.
The needle threader on the Brother just works perfectly, the needle threader on the Janome, hardly ever works although everything else does.
As @Ohsewsimple says it really is personal preference and I wish I had not got the Janome without trying it out first.

I have two Janome's, the 4300 and the 9450, both needle threaders work perfectly.

@WildAtlanticWay  You'll start a debate if you're not careful!  I thought sex was what you did and gender was what you were (or, these days, decided to be).  A bit like disability and handicap - disability was what you had and handicap was what society imposed upon you because designers only catered for the able-bodied. 

Usage does change and I do sometimes have trouble keeping up.  DS tried to explain all the letters in the extended version of LGBT... but for some I couldn't discern the differences.  And to think that 50 years ago I thought I was so with-it!
