Hiya @smurf44 another free pattern I love is the sinclair harper cardigan pattern. 3 of the versions have bands on all the edges (not the ankle length one), so there is no hemming with twin needle or coverstitch!

I've made a few versions but my favourite is the Option #2: Classic cardigan with patch pockets.
That's really nice in a ponte knit.

ooh thank you!! I went down a rabbit hole of free patterns last time!  :laugh:  I have a few bits of knit ordered, nothing too expensive to start with, so that I can have a play.
