Inspired by the ones I found online here's my Christmas Angel Ornament

It's made from felt and handstitched.

Lovely @SewRuthieSews and very neat. Is that for your tree or is it a little surprise for someone else?

It was my turn for the craft project in our family craft zoom - so this was the project, we had more angels and a star made by the others.
I think I'll probably keep her for my tree.

Here’s my last stocking of the year ( as far as I know) and my mug rugs and book marks for the charity shop. :D Just finished them this morning.

They’re great @justpottering .  Lovely colours in the patchwork and both are beautiful designs :loveit: Are they a gift or for yourself?

Why don’t you ‘do quilting’ though? Do you just not enjoy it? It used to be my least favourite part of the process, but gradually it’s become my favourite part- I find it quite a chill out exercise  :D

@Sheilago I have done quilting and reasonably successfully but I just don’t enjoy it at all, so I thought why do it when there are lots of things I prefer  :D

These are for the sofa in the sitting room I noticed the ones I used last year, which are umpty mumble years old were looking a little tired and promised I would make some new ones, I didn’t think I would have enough time but being under the weather meant that while I was ok to sew for self I really shouldn’t sew for others due to a brain fog. And voila :D

Justpottering entry number 2

What with darker evenings, log fires and Christmas coming I’ve been crocheting a snowflake garland. I made one a few years back and thought I’d make another. I string the old one around  some photos on the chimney breast wall.

Could I find the pattern? Could I ‘eck tried looking online for one, found one similar but instructions were a bit convoluted and they weren’t when I made it before.

Then I was looking for something else and yes you guessed it, I  found the pattern, well I say  ‘pattern’ but actually it was some hand scribbled note on a scrap of paper without a title in a random place! As I was wondering what it was I thought it  ‘sounded’ like the snowflake pattern so gave it a try and voila!

I used cotton last time I made it but the local yarn shop only had some that was too thick, and being too impatient to go further afield or order online I used white embroidery skeins, of which I have loads from my cross stitching days before the eyes got too old.

Here it is then   [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
