I've made some Christmas stockings for my 3 toddler grandsons.

They are made from panels so all I needed to do was line them with red fabric and wadding, then bind the top. The labels are printed on the panels as well. I hope and trust these are the last I will have to make!

This is a dress for my lovely young friend C - its a Robin print cotton fabric made up in a version of the dress from Simplicity 9473. She provided the fabric, but I did everything else :-)

The fabric was narrow so I split the skirt front into 3, a centre panel and 2 side front panels, I left the back as two panels. This allowed me to have the robins the right way up throughout the dress.
I also added inseam side pockets.

Another dress for my lovely young friend C.
The fabric came from Pound Fabrics and is still available. It was absolutely lovely to sew.

As on several occasions, I used the version of Simplicity 9473 which we've extensively altered to fit her.
The fabric is still available (on 9th Dec 2023) at Pound fabrics and was lovely to work with!

I should probably make one or two entries for this.

Bodgeitandscarper's entry number 1.

A handbag for my son's girlfriend.  The Raynham bag from Charlie's Aunt.  Made with blue leather and using my lovely new Jack H2.  One or two modifications, including an external zip pocket on the back and a recessed zip closure.

Bodgeitandscarper's entry number 2

This is also for my son's girlfriend - the Skye bag from Lavender and Twine.

Made in leather using my lovely Jack h2 machine.  I had a problem with not enough leather left for the strap, so had to have 5 joins in it.

Hideout Hen.
I made these macramé angels for my mum and sister.
It's been a long time since I've done any macramé. (school days) Then I made a wall hanging for my dining room and got the bug again.  :)
It's nice to be able to use up my bits of sparkly stuff.

In my dreams I'm still sewing....and also in my nightmares.

They’re great @Hideout Hen.  Gosh I haven’t done macrame since I had to do it with the kids at school when I helped out …..nearly 30 years ago.
