I've been so impressed by all your beautiful quilts and they have inspired me to have another go at making a very small quilt.  If it had been a competition I would want to vote for all of them.

Today I've finally cut out the last of the pieces for the SewVeryEasy Scrappy Sunshine quilt. Though as mine uses a soft teal blue instead of the yellow it might not look very sunshiney.
My next step will be to sew the March components and then I'll actually be up to date with the videos on you tube, perhaps before the April video which is due on 9th April.
As we are making components I don't have anything to share at the moment, other than an un exiting pile of 4 patches and lots of cuts pieces in labelled envelopes.

Well I've broken from tradition and had a go....

I finished my 3rd scrappy quilt last night. What will I do now?

It is backed with the narwhal fleece remnant that I used on the flannel quilt and I still have lots left. I’m going to keep this quilt and will eventually give it as a gift to a baby. It’s a simple pattern, but I like the way you can see squares in the pattern or big stars and it’s a good use of all those tiny scraps. :D There are a few non perfect point joins, but hopefully a non quilter won’t notice!

I did some straight quilting first and then used various forms of simple fmq to stabilise the tiny scrap squares.

I love that, @Sheilago

I’d like to do something like that with my blocks from the boom swap.  ::thinks::
