Not a tutorial and didn't know where else to offer the link so please move if there is a more appropriate board.

Whilst making 3 tops  in different colours from the same pattern in plain fabrics, I wanted each to be a different version so went looking for some interesting details and on one, creating some interest with pocket details was inspired by this collection -

Hope something inspires you to pimp up your project.

I have come to the conclusion that I have zero, o, O, 0 imagination!
Those pockets are lovely. What a great way to do something a little different.

Some really unusual ideas there.  I try hard not to put packets in any of my clothes, I stuff all sorts in them and end up spoiling the appearance of whatever I'm wearing.  If they do need pockets as a decorative feature I stitch them closed so I can't use them  :S

Some of those pockets are fab, but I only ever put in-seam pockets in dresses or skirts for hankies.  I don't make shirts or blouses and wouldn't want pockets on these to draw attention to my 32F cups.  :D

fake pockets or sewing pockets closed on garments- I do that too.

Pockets aren't just for garments though are they?  They're fun for making bags and non-clothing projects too.
