That's an excellent cover and good use of materials too.

Love the pockets in the cover. That’s a great idea.

Here’s mine. I just pop it on the machine when I’ve finished sewing.
I used some left over fabric that I’d used to make shopping bags for my DIL’s.

Me too, I've got a plan to make a cover, I have a tutorial/lesson in my Cath Kidston book. Yes it has pockets  :loveit:

Great job Mick. Love it when things are re used.
You have to pay a certain amount to get a hard cover for a machine nowadays.  I keeps the cost down.  Some don’t even come with a zipper foot now! :o

I know. My upside down bucket was lauded as a triffic feature.  :o

Great job Mick, love your inventiveness in up-cycling the fabrics.
I had to pay £4.50 🙀 for a pair of curtains from a charity shop to make covers for my overlockers. I've got loads of the fabric left, after seeing what you've done I've got a couple of machines with plastic covers I think I might do something similar to what you've done with the pockets if you don't mind of course 🤗.

That is some pretty cool fabric.

The problem for me is that I don't have anywhere to leave my machine set up. I need to pack stuff away when I've finished using it. So the pockets are a real help in that respect.
