I want to make some uv protecting tyre covers for our motorhome tyres - they perish in sunny weather. Online there are details of how to do this this see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i72IbLOJcwo&t=623s However has anyone any ideas of fabric in the uk I could use that is cheaper but effective - maybe something like a tarpaulin Also it needs to be relatively easy to sew . I 'd be grateful for any ideas on this

Maybe have a look at Point North or Pennine Outdoor, they both have lots of outdoor fabrics, so may have something suitable?

I bought waterproof fabric from Point North last year when I made motorbike panniers for the OH's Italy trip. I emailed them first to ask advice on what to use and they also advised me on suitable thread, which they also stock. All in all they were very helpful  :loveit:
