Glad to say I've just finished mine....was totally stumped for a while about embellishment of some sort but thankfully this afternoon's work finished the job.  What someone else will think of it dear only knows!!

Feeling quite cheerful.  :)  I've made a start on mine, and I think I like it.

I have my fabrics (DH agreed to take me via the sewing shop on Friday <3) and I've drawn out my proposed design in felt-tip pens, so I suppose you could call that a start.

Not quite finished...would be, but my very elderly cat is sleeping on the spool of thread I need...not going to move her for now. Should be able to finish tonight!

I didn't take part but have been reading this thread avidly. Sewing slowed down and came to a grinding halt with Hurricane Dorian landing in Nova Scotia on Saturday. We fared well as we were well prepared.

I made a mug rug for our local fall fair. I found the pattern on the sew4home website. Somehow I found it when doing a big search on the internet. I was going to do a fall theme but the fall fabrics didn't talk to me so I did a lobster theme (fall fishing theme here). I had a lot of fun doing it.

I loved the idea of having a napkin in a pocket. You could add tea packets to the pocket if giving as a gift.

I can't wait to see what everyone made. You inspired me to try making this mug rug on my own.
