Has FOQ actually been cancelled yet? I suspect that it will be.

Hi, I would like to join in too! I’ve been sorting my boxes of fabric and found some animal theme fabric that I think would be great for a quilt. Do we just have to make a child’s quilt?

Hi, thanks for joining in. Yes, there are no hard and fast rules. I think most people aim for about 40 inches square or 36 inches by 48, but any sizes are acceptable.
Any design as long as animals feature somewhere.
Looking forward to seeing your work

FoQ hasn't been cancelled (yet), but they have delayed the early-bird booking.

Did we ever decide that we’re going ahead with our animal themed quilts? I made one for this PL challenge, then liked it too much and kept it to give as a baby gift. I’ve now made another similar one, which I still need to sandwich and quilt and I’d like to know at this stage if it will be for PL.

My PL animal theme top is made but it's not sandwiched and quilted yet.

I had it in mind that we should have them ready for the end of July, so I've earmarked fabric for one but haven't started it yet. I'm still deeply entrenched in the lightside
so will probably need someone with a rope and tackle to pull me back to the darkside.

Hi Girls ...
Well I dont know if you want to carry on with this considering the Festival has been cancelled ?? Which is a pity as it was a jolly good theme ... I dont know, what do you think?

AS I see it there are two options:
1, carry on with the TSP challenge, send out quilts to Imi, or someone else, who will just quietly get them to Project Linus.
2, extend the date to June 2021 when hopefully FOQ will be on again.

I shall carry on with my quilt anyway as I always donate to Project Linus. I can't get out to post at the moment but will keep the quilt with all my other charity work for when I can. If we go ahead with the TSP animal quilt I will post photos and join in that way.

I’d prefer it if the date was extended to June 2020. I need to buy fabric to finish my quilt and, as I’m not working at the moment, I won’t be able to buy it atm.
