Anyone used Pauline Alice patterns?

I was really impressed with the drafting quality of the Pauline Alice  patterns I have sewn.

I made the Pauline Alice Port trousers a few weeks ago. They turned out ok after a bit of tweaking and fit reasonably well. But I wasn't overly impressed with the way the the front fly is put together - it seems quite bulky and inelegant (of course that could be due to my sewing skills). I found the instructions very confusing in general and in particular for the fly, and even the online tutorial seemed to differ from the written instructions. Also, the zip length given is completely wrong. They look fine but I'm not sure I would make them again.

I don't have a lot of experience in making trousers, but I found the Burda pattern I used last year (and a similar style) much easier, particularly the front fly.
