Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere, I can't find it. I've just made 4 spools for my coverstitch machine, by glueing a sewing machine bobbin to an empty thread reel. (Bobbins don't fit on the spindles). I can wind them on my machine and then have the same colour on each spindle on the coverstitch machine, but I'm wondering how much thread they hold and therefore how much stitching I can do. (I know I could take a new reel of thread and wind bobbins with it until it runs out, but CBA).

I'm pleased to find many of the names from TSF on here. Since it closed I've been quite productive, sewing wise, I guess that will stop now that I have a forum to browse again!

Made since TSF closed: a dress, 2 tops & a jacket for me. Athena costume for teacher daughter. Playmat, changing bag and laundry bag for newly arrived granddaughter. Cosmetic bag for a gift. Bunting for granddaughter's naming party, boat cushions re-upholstered, boat curtains made with embroidered dragonflies and borders. (The boat cushions involved making 65m of bias binding for the piping cord, I'm never doing that again).
