I was a pirate for World Book Day, yesterday.

(Hmmm, no pirate emoticons).

The White box was totally blank, with no text whatsoever, but, I have checked it just now, and it does have the text in you describe.

What I mean is - on the black line at the top it says 'my messages' with a drop down arrow next to it, (and it did say 1, but that's gone now). When I clicked, a drop down box opened, and that drop down box was just white. I was expecting that white box to contain either the text of the message, or a link to the message.

The reason why is to easily mark numbered rows and columns when making a quilt. I often number them with bits of numbered paper pinned on.

I bought the Quilting Magazine yesterday, purely because it had numbered pins as a freebie on the cover.

I'm annoyed with myself really for giving in to such obvious marketing tactics. Especially so as the pins themselves feel rough and 'rusty'ish before they've even been used.

I've not even opened the mag yet. Hope it makes up for it.
