That's it i'm done for today  :faints: one chair out and new visitor chair assembled, not easy on your own. Time for some lunch and a  :drink:
HSL rung me saying that they need the receipt that i have to issue my refund so looks like i'm going to have to drive over there again tomorrow, can't be bothered today.

Chair has been dismantled.....that was hard work, carpet all hoovered and awaiting my new chair that should be here in 15 mins  :D , i'll get that put together this morning so it's all done before DH gets in from work.

@Gernella I couldn't be bothered if i'm totally honest, i don't want people i don't know coming round even though i could have put it in the garage. They weren't very comfortable anyway.

Morning all

All up and sorted ready for the day ahead. My visitor chair is arriving today so i need to get the old chair dismantled and out into the garage, i know it comes in two pieces and the back piece will be easy to move but not so sure about the base  :S

Last night we tried over several hours to try and get through to the hospital where they have taken DH's mum, it just rang and rang and rang  :headbang: in the end i rang the nursing home and spoke to the lovely Gwynn, he's so helpful and offered to try the hospital himself. He managed to get through and someone looked up her details on the system, they managed to get her oxygen levels up , they were doing bloods and also a chest xray and that's as much as i know....maybe they will call me today, who knows.

@Silver Rose I do hope you get the news that your going home today, no better place to recover than the comfort of your own home  :flower:

I’ve just received a call from my MIL’s nursing home, her oxygen levels are at 80%, blood sugar is borderline and she’s clammy, they also cannot wake her so they’ve called the paramedics. DH is out at the moment and I’m not going to ring him as there’s nothing he can do, I just didn’t want him rushing back in the car, he shouldn’t be too long……

Morning all

Had a super sleep last night, didn’t even move.

I’ve been up since 7am, showered, hair done and breakfast had and I’m still in my nightshirt and that’s the way it’s going to stay today.
Another rest day for me to try and heal my shoulders/neck, it’s all that sanding and door lugging so I’ll be skipping that this week as much as I’d like the last door downstairs done, it will have to wait.

Enjoy your day

Take it easy @Silver Rose, you'll be running around in no time.

Not much doing today, the sky is dark and it has been raining by the looks of it, looks pretty windy as well but at least it's not chilly so no heating on yet.

I'm not doing anything today apart from knitting, my shoulders still feel sore from lifting the doors so a relaxing day it will be.

Enjoy your day

Morning all

Lovely weather here, blue sky and it’s 21 degs already and feeling muggy.

I’ve already been to sainsburys and put my shopping away. This morning I’ll get all the housework done downstairs, no painting today as I can’t be bothered my shoulders ache too much, will finish the last coat of gloss on Monday.

All the bedding has been washed this morning and is already on the line, that won’t take long to dry. As soon as I’ve done my chores which won’t take long I’m going to put my feet up and do some online shopping 😋 the unit I’ve been after is now back in stock with a delivery as early as Tuesday so I’ll measure up and I might order it, this will hold my sewing machine in the cupboard part and everything else sewing related.

Have a good day

congratulations @Tamnymore

@Celia I have only just been able to log in, no access for about 3 hours or so

Morning all

Grey skies here as well and no breeze.

This morning i'm going back to HSL to change my fabric choice so that's my first job. When i get back i need to give the bathroom door it's first coat of gloss so that can dry before DH gets back from work.

That's it for me, after all the chasing around yesterday with ordering the chair, i put a deposit down and then came back to get my building society book and thought i'd get the money out and go back and pay for it.....well i got to where the building society was and  :faints:  it wasn't there  :S had to drive in to the next town  pain in the butt but all sorted now. Will be putting my feet up for the rest of the day.

Enjoy your day

Morning all

Slept well last night but still woke up with a bit of a stiff neck  will get my heat wrap out later on and see if that helps.

This morning i've been to M&S for a few bits, been to B&Q to get a new hook rack thingy to put on the back of the bathroom door. The door has been removed, sanded, mouldings added and primed, just waiting for it to dry so i can turn it over and prime the other side, once dry i can add the new hinges/handle, re-hang and i'll gloss tomorrow.

Time for a  :drink:
