i feel a bit silly

I want to make up my fave TnT trousers in a black drapey fabric.

The pattern is Sew Me Something Portia which I've made in various linen/cotton mix, lightweight cotton, heavy cotton and I'd like to try something like a viscose mix for a 'softer' look, if you get what I mean 

I think polyester would be tricky to work with and probably wouldn't hang right. What do you suggest?

I made a jumpsuit approx age 6 months for my hairdressers' brand new baby boy. I think the fabric is so darned cute, a lucky find in my local haby shop.
