Another Courtney top. I get the feeling this is a pattern that will be made time and time again  :loveit: The top is a lovely comfortable wear and in particular I like it with a long-sleeve shirt underneath for colder weather  ;)  [ You are not allowed to view attachments ]

Fun with Fabric / Fabric suggestion for trousers

I want to make up my fave TnT trousers in a black drapey fabric.

The pattern is Sew Me Something Portia which I've made in various linen/cotton mix, lightweight cotton, heavy cotton and I'd like to try something like a viscose mix for a 'softer' look, if you get what I mean  :S

I think polyester would be tricky to work with and probably wouldn't hang right. What do you suggest?

Looks good well done. I lurve using bias binding cut from my own fabric, I would rather add binding than sew a hem  :o

I made a jumpsuit approx age 6 months for my hairdressers' brand new baby boy. I think the fabric is so darned cute, a lucky find in my local haby shop.

I bought waterproof fabric from Point North last year when I made motorbike panniers for the OH's Italy trip. I emailed them first to ask advice on what to use and they also advised me on suitable thread, which they also stock. All in all they were very helpful  :loveit:
