I was sewing this morning at my weekly quilt group making a start putting my wobbly log cabin blocks that I started on my course last week together.

No sewing today but I did press all the fabrics I’m taking to my weekly quilt group tomorrow so I’ll be ready to start in the morning.

I’ve put a couple of pics in my diary. There are pictures of the first three Puzzle Quilt blocks and another quilt for Project Linus that I recently finished.

Today I’ve finished the quilting on my delectable mountains quilt so I’m hoping that I can get the binding on and finish it tomorrow.

Then I have the final finishing to do on my incubator quilt. It will go to Project Linus to be sent to an Air Ambulance.

I’m leading a Puzzle Quilt as a mystery quilt at my monthly quilt group so need to get the next blocks ready for our October meeting.

When I go back to my weekly group next week I want to make some “Christmas Trees” to take to Canada at Christmas.

Carried on with my quilting and then found that I’d caught the edge of the backing under for about six inches so I need to unpick and restitch some bits. Nearly there though.

I wold like to know where my dressmaking tracing paper has gone. I know where it was when we moved but I can’t find it anywhere now. It will turn up when I order more.

I cut the binding steps for my quilt, marked up and stitched half the additional lines of quilting it needs.

Finished quilting the top piece of the incubator quilt this afternoon with leaves and flowers before putting it aside and rethreading.

I then used a serpentine stitch to quilt another quilt that was waiting. It’s pretty simple, just stitch diagonal across each block. Now I need to trim it up and bind it before it goes to Project Linus.

I'm using some spotted fabric in my EPP patchwork of the crosses quilt but there's no way that it will be finished in time.  Perhaps not even next year.

I have a whole cloth quilt from the family which is at least 100 years old. It is blue on one side and cream on the other. I think it came from my ex husbands family so would be north east quilting rather than welsh but really should find out. The blue side is faded a bit some of which was my fault. The photo shows the cream side so the pattern can be seen.

I didn’t take photos of this going along as I didn’t expect it to become a ufo.

This is the Breckenridge Henley from Love Notions made as a an XL graded out slightly at the hips. I cut it out in March, managed to get the main sewing done in April but then it was a further month before I got the hems done and into June to go through the button stash for suitable ones.

I’m pleased it and hope that other Love Notions patterns fit in the same way.

I’m hopeless at taking selfies.

@Iminei  the pincushion is a mini tuffet from Lady Sew and Sew made using a batik fabric.
I have a dress made from the batik fabric and used some of it in my modern quilt which is still to be layered and quilted. There’s still some left.

Yes @BrendaP a spiral. The heat has melted the brain cells.

I feel it needs some curves amongst all the angles.
