That looks like a lot of gunge that you have poked out. Check online to see that you have got into all the little places that hold muck!
Is your thread heavy enough for the job? (Any experts here?).

snuggly and beautiful!

Hmmm...
How hard is it for them to test it?

Could you have taken out too much for the adjustments and it is simply riding down at the back?
Can you overlay your TNT pattern and see the differences?

Synthetics cling most. If it is a silk woven satin, I would cut it on the grain.

I vaguely recall a guide to sewing raincoats that said that you need to waterproof the sewn seams with tape and glue - could you put the canopy together just with strong glue and tape?

It's blowing hard through here - been awake since 6 and done nothing. The online Guardian has an article about the new at home dressing - fancy dresses! I don't like the central heating high enough to wear such things.......
I just had a look over at Stitchers Guild, and they are remarking on the quiet there also...

I like the one I get a daily from TOAST, and now and again from Maker's Atelier. They have links to other interesting stuff.
What do other folk like?

Not sure why you are buying a dress that needs altering, and might not work out.....
