Overlockers & Coverstitchers / Re: Overlocker Upper Cutting Knife
« on: March 07, 2017, 22:01:35 PM »
It doesn't help mine that I've cut a few pins in half with it!  I've stopped doing that now... probably...

I nearly bought one - then had a sudden thought - yes, I've already got it!  It's now out of the pattern box, and I have a few choices of fabric to try it.  Maybe I need to enter the stash sew along...

2703
No... no... must not look... must not...

Oh, what the heck, why not  :D

I received my prize today, thanks again BrendaP.  <3

As I'm not a quiltererist, I have another plan in mind for these  :)

I can confirm that an envelope containing three blue FQs is on its way to Lincolnshire.

I'm saving the green ones for when Lowena wins a prize

Oooh, thank you so much, thank you for organising it too  :D
And thanks to everyone for their congratulations, and well done to the others who were very close.
I'll stop now, this is starting to sound like an Oscar winner's speech...

Oooh, I've won  :toast:  :cake:  :gin:

Just another question ... is everyone's post under their avatar?.. it takes a lot of space and scrolling... could the post be next to the avatar and not under it?
The posts go underneath each avatar on my Android phone too, but there wouldn't be room for them to be side by side really, so I guess this is correct?

Vintage Machines / Re: My toy cupboard...

To be honest, I've not tried sewing with them, too busy trying to clean them up.  They all operate, but sewing may be a different matter...

Oooh, they look amazing. I had a toy sewing machine as a child and dearly wish I'd kept it. Where did you find these and how long have you been collecting?  :D
I've only been collecting this year - and all but two off ebay.   I have most of the common ones I think, still  keeping an eye out for others, although I must stop spending my inheritance, I need the rest for our extension and my old age!!!
