All pieces of fabric are rectangular and at least the equivalent area of fat quarters or fat eighths.
All larger pieces are £2 each and smaller pieces £1 each. Free postage for a minimum purchase of 5 pieces.
Please let me know which fabrics you are interested in stating large or small and numbering them from the top from left to right.  Thank you.

The first photo are all fat quarter equivalent size and the second photo equivalent to fat eighth size.

My mother used to be an avid patchworker/quilter but sadly is no longer able to sew. So I have rather a lot of books which I am unable to use - I'm a dressmaker and probably won't get into patchwork now

I don't know the best way to sell them, but I will start off as follows:

Books are up to £5 each plus postage. If you let me know what you are interested in I can give you a total quote.

If you need a book on a particular subject such as embroidery, sashiko, Japanese quilting etc I may be able to find it fir you

Well Sara-s - I am told it is a Bonzai Ficus Cera.  I have got it on my window sill (in the sun when the sun comes out here which is not too often!) in a centrally heated house.  If I open the window I will move it so that it is not in a draught.

Hi Sara-s and welcome  I see one of your hobbies is cultivating bonsai trees. My son bought me one for Mother`s Day and said I had to look after it. I think he thinks it was funny as I am hopeless with plants! Any tips so I don't kill it straight away?

Tech Know How / An hour trying to submit post

I have spent an hour trying to upload a post on the 'for sale' section. Each time I do it it says "an error has occurred - you have already submitted this post."!
Yet when I look the post is not there. (this is the first time I have tried a post with a photo attached) . Any ideas please?

Hello Di and welcome.  I am also trying to work through my mum's 'stash' (she is unfortunately now in a care home).  The trouble is I can't bear to get rid of anything she has been working on, but I am not a patchworker so am trying to come up with ideas to incorporate her patchwork pieces into something I can work on!!

Hello and welcome from me, i'm a dressmaker too although I've not done so much lately.  When I was busy with work (mainly alterations) I tried to spend at least half an hour OUT of the sewing room.  It was my happy place even though it was work.  If I had work to finish I would rather get on with it than go and get the meal ready!!
