I'm just going to pop some pics in here of enjoyable yarny makes this year.

I've received the yarn to make a couple more. Another size 2 and a size 6. Fellowship cloak by Lisa Chemery.


For my son to wear under his bike jacket. Arden dickie by Rastus Hsu.


Epona for my daughter, by Linda Marveng.


Chunky spiral beanie by Elvee Dickinson

and another by Elvee Dickinson, crochet this time..The Not-So-Chunky Guy Beanie(which looks great on girls  :laughing:). I'll also be making 2 more of these to match the 2 cloaks.


Oh ok, one more.
This Shoop I had to completely remake in Angel mode(took over the job from another lass who couldn't finish for personal reasons)

Went to edit my post this morning in the Bear Sewalong to insert the missing 'to' and when I hit save, the box around my post turned red and directly above it was this message.

 Hopefully these will still fit bubs, she's growing at warp speed! I'll have to post them because with all the lock downs starting to happen, I can't risk being trapped the other end of the Island... >:) :thinking: :devil:,,nup better not.. the OH might go ballistic.  :angel:

Patterns Discussion / Testing patterns

 Hey all!

In the yarn world, I have no trouble finding patterns to test, I just go to one site that's worldwide, but wondering how you ladies find out about them for sewing? Or do you have to wait until you're approached?
My specific interests would be kiddy clothes, softies, bags/wallets.

I need to rely on emails or forums because joining FB, Insta etc are all taboo in this household so I can never comment to register interest if someone's account is public. Private accounts are obv no go cos I can't see things. ;)

Some times I just find the pressure from responsibility to someone else gets things produced a darn sight quicker.  0_0

Oh the suspense was killin me.... like let me in already!!!

Finally have a new basic machine after numerous years separation(a generation)  from my old one and the first item made was my av and yes, did everything the way I wasn't supposed to...like putting my pins in the wrong way to direction of sewing... so things are wonky but she still suits the purpose. Need to buy everything all over again but hey I'll have fun spending the OH's $$$$..oh wait... they're mine too... well I'll have fun anyway.,

I have many crafty interests all jostling for me time and about to be a Granna..everyone keep everything crossed...it's like...IMMINENT!!!! I'm a tad excited about this and for my DD and her hubs so please forgive my shouting hysteria.

Needless to say... there'll be bub things, me things, more bub things followed no doubt by toddler things.  :D OMG!!!  :dance:
