Hello there @Cazlyn and welcome to TSP!

Help and encouragement in abundance here, and so many talented sewers and great enablers! Most of us have doubts about what we make, but with every project we get better and learn new techniques.

Look forward to seeing some of your projects.

Hi fellow fabric lovers I’m Cazlyn from Kent.  I’m 50 something and have been sewing on and off since I started using my Mum’s manual Singer to make Sindy clothes at the age of about 8.  I’m really good at starting projects but not so good at finishing them.  I have taken evening classes in curtain making and also dressmaking which I really enjoyed but my confidence in my abilities is not very high so I’m almost never satisfied with what I make.  I really want to make clothes for myself that fit, I always have to do a full bust adjustment and find that quite difficult.  Hoping to get lots of encouragement and knowledge from you fellow sewists. :)

I don't think a flame thrower is generally part of one's sewing kit!   :)
They look great Brenda but there is honestly no rush to send them - the deadline is 11th August!!

... when current stocks are gone, they will no longer be stocking Husqvarna Viking or Pfaff items.

Oh heck, thanks' for the tip, I better have a look. I've just bought several recently too! GUR Sewing have stopped stocking PSV machines too so they couldn't supply the last thing I ordered.
