The Haberdashery / Stretch lace trim
« on: March 25, 2017, 20:23:21 PM »
I recently used some stretch lace trim on a sleeve of a top and to lengthen some vests. I have exhausted the colours available locally and was wondering if anyone had any online suppliers they cold suggest please?

A Good Yarn / Recently finished items

I don't see a thread for these so hoping it is ok to start one.

I'm wearing a recently finished jumper today. It's knit with wollmeise yarn and is a pattern called dusty road by Carol Feller.

What has everyone else been making?

In the wardrobe / Simplicity 8089

This is my current favourite pattern. I have made 4 of them now and I'm wearing them all. So easy to make and so easy to wear. I substituted the end of the sleeve for some stretch black lace in the black one I made which I think gives it a nice dressy touch.

Your Favourite Suppliers / Goldhawk Road
« on: March 15, 2017, 11:25:39 AM »
Hi hope its ok to start a thread here but it is a specific supplier question rather than a general one. If I need to delete please just shout.

I have booked a weekend in London next moth with my oldest DS (he will be six this summer) and I'm hoping for a very quick stop on Goldhawk road. What are the must visit shops and any tips please? I would like to get some nice jerseys maybe some cord or coloured denim and also some things like wide stretch lace trims.

Thank you.

Actually if anyone has any must see suggestions for a nearly 6 year old boy in London I would love them too.

Has anyone ordered paper patterns from their site? I'm debating placing an order for one pattern but I was just wondering if they have any must buys since I am already paying postage?
