Hot, 23c and sunny here. We're going to have a bbq later.
Shopping, washing, gardening done.....lazy afternoon methinks

@Celia the binding is behaving perfectly, it was me shuffling it about so I could photograph it  :| that bugg messed it up  :|
I'm seriously thinking about the weaving now I've seen what beauty can be achieved.
Everyone has really raised the bar this time, it's amazing how different they all look. Variety is the spice of life  ;)

I'm having trouble with TSP loading and being very slow. It won't post my pics atm. I'll try later @Celia . Thank you again for the loveliness sitting on my desk  <3

P.S. I didn't own up to mine.....I enjoy the secrecy ....

Thank you so much @Celia for the lovely mugrug and the gorgeous ( made to tempt me into weaving,I'm sure ) woven mat. Both too good to use, but already on display. <3

The one for me arrived today. The stamps had missed the franking machine but my sender had put her name as well as her address so it's not a surprise. :D

A Good Yarn / Re: SEPTEMBER SOCK KNIT ALONG
« on: September 17, 2021, 14:10:17 PM »
Thank you @b15erk  but I know my limitations. You're much more adept at crafting than I am.... ( you can even make clothes  :faints: )
Also, I'm not a visual learner. No amount of watching videos would be any help, so YouTube is a non starter. I need basic written instructions suitable for aforementioned 7 yr old  :D
I tried to learn to crochet... :'(  embroider...... :'(  I'd love to try weaving but fear my inate cackhandedness would render the outlay useless.... :|
I've always yearned to be a craftsperson but fear, at my advanced age, it's not to be.
I haven't even ventured into The Darkside for months as everything I touched went wrong.
I'll enjoy looking at The Sock Parade in due course  <3

Yes @fajita  but phrases like " turn the heel" "cuff down" and " German short rows" might as well be in Swahili  :faints:

I'm glad I didn't try to join in.
I've never heard of most of what's being discussed  :|
I can only do knit and purl on metal, straight needles.....and even that looks like a 7 yr old did it... ( I think the last one I knitted was when I was 7 and had to do it at school ) :D

I had a lovely birthday yesterday and am extending it through the coming weekend. We're going to do the local Heritage Day tomorrow.
Sunny but only 18c. Unlike hardy folks like @Bodgeitandscarper  I have my cardigan on, on top of a long sleeved t shirt.
Been to Waitrose, lots of empty shelves.
I haven't had my hair cut since February 2020. I can't wear a mask for the time a cut and blow dry takes  :'(
Don't know what to do this afternoon....
