Perhaps I'm being a bit thick but what does "@plusname" appearing in posts mean?

While in Aldi this morning I noticed that they had packs of fat quarters for sale at £4.95 a pack, the patterns are nearly all Disney so really only suitable for use with quilts for children.

Vintage Machines / Singer Touch & Sew 720G

I inherited the above machine which was made in Germany in, I think, the late 1960s from my MIL and I have been trying to find out how old it is but there doesn't appear to be a serial number anywhere on it. Can anyone tell me where I might find this information?
It's in a dreadful state as it has been in our loft for about ten years and I don't whether to have it renovated and throw it out.

Has anyone used this supplier and have they had good service? I ordered samples from them about a fortnight ago and I emailed them yesterday to ask why I had not received them but still no response.

Help - the way posts are displayed has gone haywire. Some are by the side of the avator and some are below. I would prefer the former as it means less scrolling up and down.

Just received the e-mail confirming my registration and it's good to see so many familiar names from TSF. I joined Stitchers Guild and Pattern Review and found them very friendly with a lot of good advice, they are naturally biased towards their North American members, and it's good to have a U.K. site.
