Morning all

Slept ok last night, woke up at 3am then my mind started going into overdrive  i must have dropped off soon after and didn’t even hear DH leave for work, eventually woke up at 8am  :S

All up now and sorted, just need to pop to M&S this morning then back to my sewing.

Weather looks drab but it’s incredibly warm this morning, thought the heating was on but it’s not.

@Silver Rose Glad your recovery is going well

Enjoy your day

Well I’ve been faffing around with some fabric this afternoon, made some HST’s will carry on tomorrow doing these, i’m making it up as i go along, probably not a good idea but better than doing no sewing.

7
@Celia it will be another lap quilt but with added appliqué this time. I will add my progress to the current projects thread. I’m also going to hand quilt it.

Thanks @Bill my sewing mojo was delivered by the post lady this morning.

Well I’ve started something, I have a rough idea in my head of what I’m doing (I think) but at least it’s progress.

Feels very mild out this morning, been for my morning walk already 😇

No plans for today so nothing new there  I’m going to hunt for my lost sewing mojo this morning and i see if i can find it, i know it’s here somewhere.

Just had my breakfast, will finish my cuppa and then I’ll get started with something or other.

Enjoy your day

Good morning

Are you lot still in bed

I’ve been up since 7am and all sorted ready for the day.

Just had breakfast, will pop to Sainsbury’s as soon as rush hour has passed, only want a couple of bits so it will be a quick trip.

Going to sort out the fabric for either the basket/bag thingy or my cushion  can’t make my mind up but doing any sewing will be a plus.

Weather looks a bit drab, it’s been raining as the patio is all wet but it does feel mild.
Enjoy your day

I have a flat eric  DH was driving to work one dingy wet morning and it fell off the back of a dustcart and into the gutter, he drove past it for weeks upon end and then one morning he saw it half in the gutter and half on the pavement so he stopped and rescued him. He has since been washed and sits on my windowsill looking out onto the back garden.

DH put a mask on him when covid struck

@Celia I was thinking something like this, it has a drawstring top which you can open out and it turns into a basket, could do a nice little Xmas hamper in this.

@Celia That's a pretty quilted bag, you've got me thinking now, maybe i could make one for my mum and fill with some diabetic chocolate and biscuits for christmas, or do a drawstring one....even quicker
something like this https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/743491538/drawstring-bag-patchwork-sewing-pattern?
I could make it a bit bigger so she could use it to keep her knitting in afterwards

@Sandra Thankyou, lets hope that that you'll get to see your mum soon, we had the same with the MIL, one of the staff tested positive and we couldn't visit for weeks, when is it all going to end i ask myself.

@Silver Rose Thankyou, hope you are resting after you op.
