Good question @cakeymcdoodle . As I am a complete beginner at this, I will just take a bit of advice before pronouncing!

Just to say I'm sitting by the side of the A466 waiting for RAC person to sort out my flat tyre which is 1.5 miles back in the Forest in a no signal of any sort zone. Been here 40 mins. could be another 40 yet.

Hope something lovely happens especially for you, @Mick and for you, @Catllar on your birthday-days.

Pink and blue socks won't open here either.
Mine tells me that a jpg marker segment is too short. Lord alone knows what that means

Three pledges already. Thank you @Tamnymore  :D

As :ninja: in Glos. forgot to take a photo, could you post the other side as well @Stitchalot then the numpty - whoever s/he is - will be able to keep one on file. Should s/he want to, that is ;)

Triffic news Plosh-old-thing. I was wondering if a cosy pair of knitted socks could count as an item if one went in for an indoor ensemble.

Hearty-felt thanks to the Lovely Imi for my beee-autiful Autumn leaf. Pics later, I promise.

About 6 hours later...
Sometimes pics take ages nages to come through my email. I think the Forest Pixies carry one pixel at a time. And bluetooth won't work between my devices. And using google Photos produced something that appeared to be the view of an extremely short-sighted person  :boohoo:

Here's the front.  With a little card showing how I might expect to see the Royal Forest when Autumn really gets going.

For the back, see Lachica's Phantom of old Dorsetshire back-side  ;)

They're gorgeous @b15erk  :D

I still haven't started mine, things seem to get in the way. We're off to the theatre tonight and I won't be able to read the pattern in the dark  ;)

Mind you, we are having new windows fitted throughtout the house next week and I have to dismantle most of my sewing room so they can fit those so knitting may be my only option. Or gardening if the weather's good.

Just right Goldilocks @charley

Toot tootle oot-toot too-tooooo!

'Competitions and Sewalongs' announces the Autumn/Winter 3-piece Sewalong. I probably won't be entering as I'm pooped from just learning how to put the thing on the forum  :faints:

This is a repeat of last night's announcements for those who missed it.

Now, to open my mug rug swap parcel  :)

Lovely, @charley .  The photos appeared in your post so that's perfect!  It would be great if you could give a little bit of information in the style of the template on p.1. You can add it into your post with the pics then they can appear as one into the voting thread when it goes up.
