Did my officially sanctioned walk - it isn't getting any warmer here.
Then printed out the new timetable for recycling/garden waste collection - did three extra copies and delivered them to neighbours who I am fairly sure don't 'do' the internet.

Just had a coffee and thinking about what should be next on the list of jobs.

I felt much better after my friend phoned yesterday which was a surprise as I thought I was doing fine here. After all I have lived alone for nearly 35 years and am quite comfortable in my own company and doing my own thing.
Turns out that, while that is true, I do need some contact and the stimulation of others even in small doses.

Plan for the future - phone people (not too often, they don't deserve that, but enough to keep me going).

That doesn't sound good Mitch (surely the nurses had 'someone' they could contact to give you proper help!) hope you are feeling better.

Anyway I hope you are all well and coping and getting any help you need. It is the weekend isn't it?

Sunny here at the moment but supposed to get cloudy during morning.
Cold, so I probably won't bother with a walk.

Welcome, Meow.

I discovered and love salted caramel ice cream, but can't get my head round cheese and jam sandwiches.

Courses & Classes / Re: Bluprint - free until 9 April (was Craftsy)

I have classes I bought from Craftsy that I have never watched or intended to watch again.

I must admit that I have never checked since Craftsy became Bluueprint, just assumed that what I had bought was still mine to access.

Happy Birthday, Kwaaked  :toast: :cake: :toast:

Good morning does anyone else feel perpetually tired since things have gone mad in the world, every day I intend to do things that don’t happen.
I can't say I feel perpetually tired, but I recognise the 'intend to do things that don't happen' only too well.
I go to bed full of plans for the following day but...........

Welcome, Lalu.

Your first sashiko? Seriously?

Wish I could stitch as evenly as that.

I love the monogram label. I assume she put that in all her garments.
