I’m sure I have some cheap 3.5 bamboo circular needles if they are any good.

Bodge they are lovely.

Makes me want to get my machine out of the depths and have a go.

We've been watching the bluetits check out the various nesting boxes this morning and I started wondering about buying DH one of those cameras you can put inside a nesting box for a good old nosey.

Bearing in mind he is a complete technophobe am I barking mad?

We do have suitably qualified children who could help set things up but are they hard to use on a daily basis?

Just got back from a dear friends funeral.

It was outside in a natural burial ground, very moving and beautiful and as it was outside 30 people could attend.

He was a keen motorcyclist so we all followed the hearse on bikes, it made quite a sight.

I was fascinated by his coffin, it had to be biodegradable as it was a woodland burial and appeared to made of felt, beautifully stitched together and trimmed in blanket stitch. The handles were canvas and the lid was held on by tapes looped over toggles.  I know what I want now.

He was a lovely bloke taken far too soon but he really went out in the way he would have loved. All his friends gathered round in a field just like a really good bike rally.

Many congratulations to all our friends over the pond, though one seems to have been absent recently.

I was just thinking of people who actually work in the White House, the atmosphere will surely be much better in the days to come, much less toxic when it becomes home to a couple who appear to be polite, affable and gracious.

I’m off to make a small dressing gown covered in rainbows 0_0

It’s the Flip Clutch Wallet.

It’s a little bigger than I want for everyday use but I had made several accordion wallets and wanted a change.

It will be useful if we ever get to go travelling again.

I am working up to making something with my beautiful purple leather skin but I’m not quite there yet.

This is the first thing I’ve done with actual leather and I’m quite pleased.  It’s more use than the old suede skirt it started life as.

A Good Yarn / Re: Beaded Lace Wedding Shawl

Apart from wondering why you wanted a halitosis shawl, I am in awe. It is absolutely beautiful.

You are really taking a lot on but it must give you so much satisfaction to know your wedding will be so personal.

I've always thought I would have no use for an embroidery machine but I think you have changed my mind
