It is cold and windy and I have put the heating on, I try to wait until October but not this year. So warmer trousers and jumpers will be worn.. If it doesn't rain then a bit a walk this afternoon and coffee and cake later. I have got halfway through "Tombland" as I had a lazy day yesterday so some housework needs to be done
Have a good day everyone.

Sorry Imi no brother. Marvellous he might be but he is very untidy and forgetful that's why we have never shared a home together and we are both independent people and prefer our own space sometimes.

@Iminei , a familiar story, first colleagues then more than colleagues then a lot more than colleagues... now very good friends, we've known each other over 30 years and we still have a good laugh and help each other out and he is 10 years younger than me.

Morning, brrr it is raining and chilly and I'm glad I haven't got to go out anywhere. @Iminei , I found Rug Doctor cleaner just the job for any Cosmo :meow: accidents. Just texted shopping list to my friend for delivery later, he really is s gem especially like yesterday when I just couldn't get into my swimsuit without a tantrum, he calmed me down and helped me put it on. He can share my slightly curried carrot and apple soup I made yesterday. Have a good day all.

@Gernella , we swim at a pool which is part of a children's centre which has ballet, gymnastics and swimming clubs. Over the summer and at the moment they are hiring the pool out for adults and families so we two have an hour in the pool to ourselves which is bliss. It is not a large pool and there is a lifeguard on duty. Haven't swum in the sea in the UK for many years, much too cold. It helps my arthritis and cheers me up no end.

Morning, lots of rain overnight and showers forecast. Going for a swim at 12, I am really looking forward to that. I managed a walk through to the next road
yesterday and had a chat with a woman I haven't seen since March. Probably make soup today as it is getting chillier and it will be warming after a swim. I had better get off my b*m now and make the bed for a start. Have a good day everyone.

Congratulations @Greybird
It is rather cloudy and damp here, not a lot of rain has fallen overnight. Feeling rather lacklustre today and really stiff so won't be doing much. My friend will be bringing some shopping for me and I'll try to have a walk around our little close with him later.
Have a good day.

It is sunny with a warmer breeze today, I've got a load of washing done, it is supposed to rain tomorrow. A bit of housework done so now I am having a coffee and a rest before I do some ironing. Enjoy your day out @twopence , good news about your husband @Stitches.  Have a good day everyone.

Hooray the sun is out now, the mushroom and cheese tart is in the oven and I'm resting my legs. Getting a bit hungry now, I skipped breakfast this morning, naughty me. I normally enjoy breakfast but felt a bit bilious earlier, OK now though.

Good morning, cool and misty start to the day here but the sun should come through later. I've got a few chores to do today as well as make a mushroom and blue cheese tart.  I'll be getting winter clothes out at the end of the week if the weather forecast is correct. I don't want to put the heating on yet so I might be wearing extra layers. Have a good Monday.
