Today... / Re: Monday 27th January
« on: Yesterday at 10:36:58 »
G'morning I'm busy busy dusting, sorting laundry, stripping the bed - purely for my own benefit, the OH is in Oxford until Thursday evening so the rest of the week is all mine.

Been trying to get through to Dyson on the telephone which is proving to be impossible so have sent a brief email, I need a replacement part.

Neck and shoulder is much less painful, can manage to gently massage it now, I really need a good sleep  :S

@Kwaaked @justpottering hope you have a successful day  :)

Have a good day all

Good afternoon just got back from a carvery lunch, mum's treat  :) Was v good and didn't pig out so still feeling fresh, although the rain is tipping down.

Won't do much today, the OH is prepping for four days away in Oxford, and I can't be bothered to warm the hut up for just an hour on the sewing projects. Lined up for when the top is finished is putting a 'bib' on a pair of trousers to make dungarees/jumpsuit of a kind.

Have a good day all

Sure, why not? Even better, why not make all thread from recycled bottles, just not tell us, we don't know any different  ;)

G'morning I feel exhausted, still feeling lots of pain from my shoulder and not sleeping well  :'(

I'd quite like to carry on sewing my top but the OH's courtesy car is being delivered today so I need to stay in the house otherwise I won't hear the doorbell.

It's a lovely dry bright morning.

Have a good day all

G'morning I'm still feeling pain with my shoulder so am waiting for painkillers to kick in before I tackle any jobs, but honestly I don't feel like doing much. It's nice to be alone in the house again and I might watch a film this afternoon  :)

I made good progress y/day with the latest project, will post pic when finished. I've acquired a boilersuit which my bestie bought in the Next Jan sales but doesn't want.......7 quid? Er, yeah, go on then. I mean, can you buy even one metre of fabric for that money!!

Have a good day all

G'morning I'm early too been awake since 4ish, I have a trapped nerve in my shoulder and could not get comfortable in bed so tried a nap on the sofa downstairs. Will no doubt be more shattered than a shattered thing this afternoon   :P

I want to make a top today from my hacked pattern, revised edition, think I've got just enough of my plaid brushed cotton. That will add to the stash busting effort

The SS has a job interview in Scarborough tomorrow so will go to York later to his mum's to make the journey from there  :)

Have a good day all
