So much of what they want disclosed is proprietary. Who the raw materials come from for instance. You really don't need all your competition knowing every little thing about your inner workings.

Were I a manufacturer I'm afraid I'd score pretty low. I'd need a full time employee to tell these nosy people "none of your business".
